I’ve been gathering some ideas for my upcoming weekend makeover for our primary bedroom starting with dark earthy green paint colors, then moved along to moody bedroom inspo, and now I’m on to the hunt for some stylish nightstands.
When we first moved into our house just over 4 years ago, I didn’t have a headboard for our bedroom (was still on the hunt for one after, oh, 5 years!) and I didn’t want to spend a lot on nightstands but definitely needed something for our table lamps and to hold the tv remote and some little books.
This little wood and white mid-century modern nightstand from Amazon fit the bill for something like $40 so I bought two and slapped some new Emtek satin brass hexagon knobs on them to zhoosh them up a bit.
But now we have a headboard I really love (since it took me FOREVER to find something unique!) and it’s finally time to upgrade the nightstands to give the room a more elevated, modern traditional look.
I still love the idea of having white nightstands so the gorgeous headboard can take center stage so down The Rabbit Hole I went …
I’m kinda thinking about going with the Studio McGee ones from Target since they have that beautiful texture from the caning on the drawer fronts making them look more expensive than they are!
