If you’ve been following my former Sanctuary blog for awhile now, you know I’m a die-hard Target lover. As in, “I would pay handsomely to be locked in that store overnight with nobody else so I could stroll their magical aisles of goodies in total peace and quiet while munching on a bag of Kettle Chips, then grabbing a quick power nap on one of the outdoor sofas” kind of die-hard Target lover.
For many years, Target has been my little slice of heaven and my happy place. I can’t quite explain it but every time I go in there, a wave of calm flows over me, quickly replaced by childish glee when I see all of the cool loot they have. For some, there’s yoga. For me, Target IS my yoga.
Throughout the pandemic, I have stayed home because I’m in the high-risk category. I haven’t set foot in any stores (curbside anything has been my EVERYTHING!) until this past week (I was vaccinated in early April) and one of the first stores I went to? You guessed it – TARGET!
There were SO many new things that honestly, it was a little overwhelming for me. The whole experience of being back out in public after a year was a lot to take in, but it was still quite an enjoyable trip.
I’ve been back twice since and bought two of these ottomans from Hearth & Hand with Magnolia for my own living room refresh project. So far, I’m lovin’ them but keeping the tags on just in case I see something else (preferably vintage pieces) that sparks a teensy bit more joy.
One of the fun aspects of designing a space – and a way to stay within budget – is mixing high-priced items with low-priced items to create an interesting, lived-in feel and that’s what my “I Spy High-End Design” feature posts are all about.
So come check out these 16 stylish home decor and furniture finds from Target that look high-end but won’t break your budget. Bonus: these beautiful pieces will fit in with so many different design styles!
